Total Civil Construction & Engineering, LLC Dispatcher | Construction Industry in Lanham, Maryland
The dispatcher position is the company representative responsible for tracking the day-to-day truck check-in process delivering different kinds of materials at a construction site. As a member of our operations team, the dispatcher will be responsible for managing and maintaining records of all trucks entering the facility on a day-to-day basis.
Duties & Responsibilities
Proactively manage the truck check-in process on a day-to-day basis
Able to identify the kind of material being delivered and provide directions to truck drivers where to unload the material coming on site.
Able to keep track of all the daily reports and document delivery tickets of all dump trucks
The Dispatcher will be responsible to open and close the facility during operating hours
Ability to multi-task
Excellent customer service skills
Must be a self-starter with attention to details
Perform other duties, as and when assigned.
Required & Preferred Skills
Valid Driver License
Reliable transportation
2+ years of experience in Construction Trucking or Dispatch – preferred
Experience within the trucking industry – preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (word, excel)
High level of written and oral professionalism
