Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated General Production Workers to join our Aerospace division on the 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 7am-4:30pm with every other Friday off). In this role, you will be involved in the manufacture, testing, and inspection of aluminum heat pipes.

Responsibilities

• Assist machine operators by selecting the correct program and starting the machine.

• Oversee saw operation process to ensure aluminum pipes are cut to exact specifications and undergo training on the bending process.

• Handle aluminum pipes and perform thorough cleaning processes according to exact specifications, ensuring each piece is handled with care.

• Conduct testing and inspections, including leak testing.

• Perform hands-on sanding and polishing duties at a sanding station, handling aluminum heat pipes with precision.

Essential Skills

• Strong culture fit with good soft skills.

• Stable work history with consistent employment.

• High level of attention to detail, particularly in small parts assembly or machining.

• Experience in a machine shop is a plus.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with brazing, inspection, soldering, assembly, and machine operation.

• GED or high school diploma.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $20.00/hr.
