Description
The Manager of Quality, Compliance and Risk Management will direct the facility Quality Management program which includes oversight of Accreditation, Licensing and Credentialing Activities. They will also plan, organize, direct and control all aspects of risk management activities and ensure a safe environment for the protection of clients, employees and visitors to the facility in such a manner as to comply with laws, regulations and the standards of the accrediting and approval agencies.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Monitor and analyze QM data for review by facility management. Submit data to external agencies as
required.
Conduct annual preparation and evaluation of the facility Quality plan.
Complete QM projects and incorporates the results into patient care improvements.
ensure facility compliance with policies and applicable standards as required by regulatory/accrediting
bodies.
Submit monthly scorecard data to Acadia corporate office.
Complete monthly safety rounds and submit results/corrective actions to Acadia corporate office
Review incident/safety concerns with the leadership team to identify systemic issues and facilitate the development of corrective actions. Facilitate/oversee investigation and Root Cause Analyses into all serious and/or sentinel events.
Provide staff management to including hiring, development, training, performance management and communication to ensure effective and efficient department operation.
Coordinate the abstraction of clinical data according to accreditation bodies specifications and data entry
Investigate and analyze actual and potential risks in the facility; assess liability and probability of legal action for potential notification. Implement, educate and encourage incident reporting system throughout the facility.
Implement risk management program throughout the facility.
Develop and implement infrastructures and systems that support patient safety.
Work closely with Clinical Department practice to ensure the organization's procedures and policies are being followed by all employees.
Investigate and analyze actual and potential risks in the facility; assess liability and probability of legal action for potential notification. Implement, educate and encourage incident reporting system throughout the facility.
Implement risk management program throughout the facility.
Develop and implement infrastructures and systems that support patient safety.
Assess QAPI needs and trends for the facility program by reviewing current practices and gathering, compiling and evaluating data related to employees, services, and patient feedback.
Delegate and support the QAPI and risk management activities of Department Directors to ensure desired, department-related outcomes for patient care and safety.
OTHER FUNCTIONS:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in a business, Nursing or Human Services or a related field required. Master's Degree in Nursing or Human Service , or related field preferred.
Three or more years’ experience in Quality and Risk management position required.
One or more years’ supervisory experience required.
Experience with accreditation and regulatory audits preferred.
Experience in a behavioral health setting preferred.
LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:
CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required
First aid may be required based on state or facility.
