Machine Operator-Floater, 2nd Shift - 1295
DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Location: 715 Fountain Avenue, Lancaster, PA 17601
Ecore is looking for a 2nd shift Machine Operator Floater to join our Lancaster, PA team! The Floater is responsible for operating department machinery, ensuring quality production, training, assisting with SOPs and documentation, performing inventory data entry, and cross-training as needed.
Hours: Monday-Friday 3:00pm-11pm
Pay: $18-19 (based on experience)
Core Contributions : * Operate all department machinery, assist during breaks and absences, and support full cleans. * Follow quality guidelines, check product quality, and ensure compliance with Standard Work and 6S guidelines. * Operate a forklift for material transport while adhering to safety regulations. * Maintain a clean work environment, store tools properly, and report maintenance issues. * Use computers for logging, entering, and reviewing production data and work orders. * Cross-train into other job functions and assist as needed.
Essential Experiences : * High School Diploma/GED or 4+ years of machine operator/manufacturing experience. * Strong attention to detail, basic math, and computer skills; ERP experience preferred. * Commitment to safety, ability to work overtime, and handle physical demands. * 1+ years forklift and manufacturing/machine operating experience.
