Position Summary: Coordinates the shipping of goods in accordance with logistical schedules and expectations of customers.

Responsibilities: Prioritizes personal safety and the safety of the plant, actively contributes to the reporting of safety observations, and fostering a culture of safety awareness, resulting in zero workplace accidents. Perform a variety of shipping duties of moderate scope and complexity as a part of the logistics team working in a fast -paced environment. Primary responsibility is in Shipping, and this role may require flexible hours. Shipping - Primary role completion of the necessary paperwork and shipping records. Prepare packaging per customer requirements for shipment including generating of necessary labels, forms and shipping records. Utilize customer portals to complete shipping requirements. Daily processing of domestic and international packages including Ground, Air, Ocean and Truckload/LTL orders. Prepare air bills, bills of lading and sales order forms for the carrier and company records. Contact carriers for dispatching shipments, and tracing for follow-up information. Ensures all export requirements are met before orders are shipped. Perform data input to update system records and verify all documents for completeness andaccuracy prior to filing. Interact with other departments to resolve any shipping or invoicing issues. Actively contributes to high-performance teams, fosters a lean culture, and engages in activities to drive impactful change. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand and use hands to finger or touch objects, tools, or controls, to push and pull objects, and lift and/or move up to 30 lbs. The associate is occasionally required to reach above the shoulders, and lift and/or move 30 to 50 lbs. Ability to work overtime hours as required by business need. May be required to perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Associate degree in business preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years in a logistics/customer service/distribution role. U.S. Citizenship required. Manufacturing experience is preferred. Ability to read and comprehend written and oral instructions, work orders, and short correspondence.Ability to communicate with other associates to share information, solve problems, and train. Knowledge of diagrams to ensure proper specifications are being met.
