The Eurofins BioPharma Product Testing (BPT) Group is the largest network of harmonized bio/pharmaceutical GMP product testing laboratories worldwide. The service portfolio supports all stages of the drug development process and all functional areas of bio/pharmaceutical manufacturing, including method development, microbiology, process validation and quality control.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
Demonstrates and promotes the company vision
Regular attendance and punctuality
Ensure that the quality policy program is understood, implemented, and maintained at all levels of the organization; identify, prevent, or correct any departures from the quality system
Perform work for both routine and non-routine work as specified by separate and applicable technical job description for individual
Develop and implement operational improvements
Supervise others in performing client’s service requirements
Coach, train, and develop others within the group with respect to their personal development and effective implementation of operational improvements
Coordinate workflow and perform daily monitoring to meet TAT
Conduct semiannual performance reviews, interview applicants, keep training records up to date for assigned employees, perform succession planning in preparation for growth
Confront and address problems, concerns, and performance issues
Coach and develop individual and team to maximize performance
Foster motivation and morale
Monitor and approve employees’ time worked through time-entry system
Support and promote company policies and procedures
Expand self-awareness and develop leadership skills as defined; attend applicable leadership training based on identified needs
High school diploma; 4-year degree or equivalent experience
Responsible for the direct management of the non-leadership employees in the department, previous supervisory experience preferred
Displays Self confidence, leadership, ability to reason, make sound decisions, and delegate; empathy and sensitivity towards others; motivation to excel and inspire excellence in others
Displays ability to manage the work of others and see projects through to completion; strong communication including verbal, writing, and presentation skills
Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively and relate well to people; mental and emotional stability and maturity ability to handle personal stress and diffuse stress in others; strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities; good judgment and tact recognizing and solving problems

The position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8a.m.-5 p.m., with overtime as needed. Candidates within a commutable distance of Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply.
