Job Title: CNC Operator/Manufacturing Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a mid-level CNC Operator to set up and operate conversational 3-axis CNC Machines. As a Manufacturing Technician, you will work closely with the Engineering staff to build and test thermal products, supporting all aspects of Product Development to Manufacturing transitions, manufacturing tooling design, and mid to high volume manufacturing process development.

Responsibilities

  • Support engineering staff in the design, fabrication, and test of thermal products.

  • Braze or solder thermal products and support hardware.

  • Install hardware, including Heli-coils, threaded inserts, pins, and screws.

  • Use initiative, imagination, and knowledge to assist with various assembly processes.

  • Assist in the development and qualification of production fixtures and tooling.

  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, when necessary.

Essential Skills

  • Ability to load programs and change offsets on 3-axis CNC machines.

  • Understanding of X, Y, and Z axes.

  • Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, and gauges.

  • Experience in a production manufacturing environment.

  • Ability to operate hand tools (drills, drivers, etc.) and basic shop tools (press, mill, lathe, etc.).

  • Metalworking skills such as machining, soldering, brazing, and welding.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Certificate from a technical school or minimum of 3 years of related experience.

  • SolidWorks or other CAD experience is preferred.

  • Hands-on fabrication and troubleshooting of assembly processes and test stands.

  • Ability to maintain an effective working pace to help the team complete projects on time.

  • Flexibility and ability to easily redirect efforts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $26.00
