Job Title: CMM Programmer / Quality Technician

Job Description

Seeking a skilled CMM Programmer / Quality Technician to join our team on either the 1st shift (7am - 3:30pm) or 2nd shift (3:30pm - 12am). We have one opening for each shift. This role involves performing manual inspection tasks and operating as well as programming equipment such as manual and CNC CMMs, and optical comparators. Additionally, responsibilities may include managing calibration processes and calibration of various equipment.

Primary Skills

• Programming and operation of manual and CNC CMMs

• Setup and operation of Optical Comparators

• Use of inspection tools (height gauges, calipers, pin gauges, thread gauges, countersink gauges)

• Completion of inspection reports

• Calibration of hand tools and test equipment

Secondary Skills

• Leadership and setting examples in procedural adherence

• Effective communication

• Attention to detail

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Work Environment

The work environment is on our production floor which includes both climate-controlled areas and areas without climate control. The role requires physical activities like moving items up to 50 lbs and may require extended periods of sitting, standing, or walking. An annual eye examination is mandatory for this position.
