Overview of the Role:
This position is responsible for providing a high level of service to our corporate accounts. This is accomplished by managing day to day transactions with assigned customers as it relates to order processing, returned goods, operational compliance, requests for credit/debit, and other customer service needs. The individual will exercise discretion and independent judgement in determining the best way to solve customer issues, while eliminating root cause of any potential issues through creative problem solving.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Regular attendance and punctuality required
Manages day-to-day order processing and other transactions with assigned customer accounts
Partners with Account Directors, Business Development Managers/Specialists, and customers to quickly solve PO discrepancies and other order processing matters
Collaborates with internal EDI partners and IT Business Analyst to problem solve order processing issues to resolution
Reviews Daily Management Report for fiscal month progress and drives opportunities to deliver sales to budget goals
Identifies cost-saving opportunities within the order management process
Proactively explores ways to improve efficiencies within the current order management method
Demonstrates a high sense of urgency around accurate completion of all tasks
Responsible to assure that orders are priced accurately
Professionally communicates with internal and external customers
Performs other duties as assigned
Successful Candidate Profile:
SAP experience preferred
High School Diploma/GED required; College degree preferred or equivalent work experience
1+ years customer service experience required
Proficient with Microsoft Suite of products, PowerBI experience preferred
Independent worker with minimal supervision
