Job Title: Software EngineerJob Description

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for a wide range of product support roles, including configuration, installation, startup, and troubleshooting on a range of B&W products within the utility, pulp and paper, and industrial markets. This position requires you to design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and maintain software applications used within our controls products. The existing applications are written in C#, C, C++, and VB.NET. The schedule is not hybrid; you will be on-site 100% of the time when not traveling. This role requires up to 25% travel time, predominantly domestically, with occasional international travel.

Hard Skills

• BS Degree in Computer Science and Engineering

• 1-4 Years of Experience (or applicable software co-op)

• Proficiency in C#, C, C++, and VB.NET

Soft Skills

• Engineering tech brain curiosity

• Independent and team working capabilities

• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Lancaster, Ohio.

Work Environment

100% on-site when not traveling to customer sites. 25% travel predominantly domestically, with occasional international travel (1-2 international trips annually). Mileage reimbursement when required to travel.
