We are looking for a dynamic, passionate, dedicated individual who will lead and implement our strategic plan. This PRN position offers a pay rate of $175.00 plus meals per round trip not requiring overnight stays. Pay rate of $350.00 plus meals and lodging provided when trip distance requires overnight stay. POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking an energetic, highly organized, dynamic professional to join our team. As the PRN Athletic Bus Driver you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations, adhering to designated routes and schedules. Your focus will be on ensuring a smooth and comfortable ride for all passengers while maintaining a high level of safety and customer service. As an employee of, and the Colorado Community College System, this position is required to uphold and enforce the policies of LCC and CCCS, and all local, state and federal laws. This position will comply with all student privacy laws (FERPA); and is a mandatory reporter of any suspected illegal activity. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Operate assigned buses and vehicles following established routes and schedules. Ability to read and follow navigation equipment. Ability to safely drive in inclement weather as necessary (snow, rain, etc.). Ensure the safety of passengers during boarding, transit, and disembarking. Adhere to traffic laws and regulations while driving and maintain a safe driving record. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the bus to ensure it is in good working condition. Handle unexpected situations, such as traffic delays or vehicle malfunctions, in a calm and efficient manner Communicate effectively with other staff to coordinate routes and updates Record and report mileage after each trip. Ability to work flexible hours and schedules including weekends and overnight stays. Maintain a clean and organized bus interior, including regular cleaning and sanitizing. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Must hold a class "C" CDL driver's license with a passenger endorsement. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a bus driver or in a related driving role. REFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: First Aid/CPR Certification. Knowledge of regional routes and geography
