Responsibilities
Do you have a passion for sleep medicine and a dedication to providing exceptional patient care? Our Sleep Lab is seeking a skilled and compassionate Polysomnographic Technologist to join our growing team! This is an opportunity to use your expertise to improve the lives of patients struggling with sleep disorders.
What You'll Do:
As a key member of our team, you will:
Conduct Comprehensive Sleep Studies: Perform and monitor both daytime and overnight polysomnograms, ensuring accurate data collection using a variety of equipment (EEG, ECG, EMG, pulse oximetry, and respiratory monitoring).
Analyze and Interpret Data: Score sleep studies, meticulously analyze the results, and prepare clear and concise reports for physician interpretation.
Provide Exceptional Patient Care: Prepare patients for their studies, ensuring their comfort and understanding throughout the process. You'll build rapport and provide a supportive environment.
Maintain a High-Functioning Lab: Keep the sleep lab clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies and equipment. You'll play a vital role in maintaining the lab's operational efficiency.

Qualifications
What You'll Bring:
Education: Successful completion of an American Board of Sleep Medicine (ABSM) accepted educational program leading to an Associate degree with an emphasis in polysomnography; OR successful completion of a polysomnography program of at least one year's duration from a state-licensed and/or nationally accredited educational facility, or equivalent experience demonstrating proficiency in all required competencies.
Technical Skills: Thorough knowledge of polysomnographic equipment and procedures. Experience with scoring sleep studies is essential.
Patient-Focused Approach: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for building trust and rapport with patients.
Attention to Detail: Accuracy and precision are paramount in this role.
Teamwork: You'll be a collaborative member of a dedicated team.
Pay Range
$30.32 - $46.87 /hour
