We have one opening for a Straightener open for any shift. As a Straightener at Regal Rexnord Thomson/Nook Cleveland Division your focus will be to: Ensuring customer satisfaction with on time delivery requirements by providing assembly operations per standard work procedures and within the required tact time. Responsible for performing assembly or non-CNC operations according to Standard Work Documentation, Manufacturing Instructions and Quality Plans in the cell. Assembles ball nuts, operates small hand tools for debur operations, engraver, as needed to complete operations. May use saws, straightener, buffer, and overhead hoist. Daily communication with the team required. Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent required Must successfully complete a blueprint reading course. Ability to read, follow and understand prints, MI's and QP's to accomplish the assigned task. Required to exhibit the ability to read and follow work instructions both written and verbal. Must be able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of work situations. Use of inspection equipment to include, but not limited to: Micrometers, pitch micrometers, indicator micrometers, calipers, indicators, thread gauges, length gages, and tape measures. The ability to perform basic math calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Must be able to compute rate, ratio to draw and interpret bar graphs. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
