Staffmark Investment, LLC EMS HR Business Partner in Lakewood, Ohio

Job Summary We are currently hiring an EMS Human Resources Business Partner for our Human Resource team, and our ideal candidate will possess a passion for impacting lives and our community. You will provide Human Resources Management services for a variety of PEO clients. Essential Duties Your Day-to-Day Leadership includes Activities such as these: Provide client service and HR support to assigned PEO clients and their work site employees. Administer various human resource plans and procedures for all PEO clients; development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures including development of client handbooks Provide education, preventative training, and consultation on employee related matters to minimize potential litigation; assist with EEO, ADA, FMLA, FLSA claims and other employee related matters when requested and make recommendations for appropriate action based on experience, education and understanding of the law, practice, and policy Conduct exit interviews, analyze data, and make recommendations for corrective action and continuous improvement Assist the EMS Benefits team with administration of the client benefit programs by conducting yearly Open Enrollment meetings, explaining benefit details to employees, and review forms for completeness and accuracy. Perform periodic audits of client records, files, and documents. Research discrepancies and take corrective action Competencies Competencies we value for this role include ethical conduct, thoroughness, detail-oriented, excellent written and oral communication skills, strong time management skills, good skills in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), proven strong organizational skills, and an ability to effectively prioritize in a multi-task environment.
