We have one opening for a CNC Programmer Job Summary Regal Rexnord Thomson Linear/Nook Cleveland Division is seeking an experienced CNC programmer. The CNC Programmer is responsible for the programming and maintenance of computer numeric controlled production equipment. Work with supervisors, shop floor employees and process engineers to understand the specifics of how a part can be manufactured on a piece of capital equipment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Be able to manage Setup Sheet creation and revision. Approval of CNC programs, revisions, and documentation. Able to perform daily tasks with minimal supervision; working to achieve business goals and strategic initiatives. Provide technical support to Engineers, Supervisors and CNC Operators for CNC program creation / modification. Creation and modification of part routings. Revise work instructions or other projects related to the essential duties of CNC programs. Must have a solid understanding of the setup and operation of CNC equipment. CNC Milling experience a plus. Must be proficient in engineering drawing interpretation, geometric tolerancing and the mathematics required to perform the most advanced CNC operations. Must be able to develop CNC programs for quality, cost, and tooling efficiency. Gibbs CAM / ESPRIT experience a plus May work with others to ensure that production schedules are met. Other duties as assigned. Education and Experience Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred. Three-Five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must successfully complete a blueprint reading course. Ability to write reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to associates of the organization.
