Job Description SUMMARY: Responsible for providing or overseeing the analysis, administration, and oversight of standard regulatory policies, programs, and practices; provides feedback and guidance to employees and management, using fundamental professional and technical knowledge of regulatory or related information, requirements, and procedures. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: VOC WORKFLOW REVIEW Review VOC forms completed by Store Management on behalf of customers to determine if criteria to exempt the customer from restrictions are met Notify Stores Management to correct and complete forms as needed File new VOC forms in internal forms repository Review workflows to determine if a valid customer form is on file and if found acceptable, approve orderability of goods. REPORTING ASSISTANCE AND DATA ANALYTICS Provide data gathering and data analysis as needed for VOC regulatory reporting Provide data gathering and data analysis as needed for other regulatory purposes Utilize various databases and reporting tools to gather, manipulate and analyze data such as Excel, Business Objects, Tableau and others CUSTOMER SUPPORT: Respond routinely to internal customer inquiries Assist in data gathering for other team members that are responding to regulatory reporting requirements, complex customer inquiries, or certification statements Routine interactions with internal customers and outside suppliers Support all customer Divisions, multiple regulatory areas and multiple regions Education and Experience: Required: Bachelor of Science (Chemistry, Engineering, or related field) Required Skills: Required: Must have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Must be able to handle repetitive tasks involving large amounts of data Must have proficiency with Microsoft Office Products, especially Excel Must be comfortable learning new and varied computer systems Preferred: Minimum 1-2 years Regulatory or Compliance related experience in the Chemical Industry Familiarity and understanding of Regulations governing chemicals, their use, environmental impact, and associated hazards in the coatings industry (ex. VOCs, GHS, etc).
