Our client, a leading diesel engine manufacturer is seeking a Machinist to join their team. As a Machinist, you will be part of the production department. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, commitment to task and a strong sense of teamwork which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machinest

Location: Lakewood NY

Pay: $18 an hr

What’s the Job?

Max of 5

• Completes all duties assigned

• Actively lead / participate as needed in continuous improvement that improves safety, cost, quality, and delivery.

• Participates in training and personal development, Trains other department personnel.

• Actively engages in assuring the continual well-being of themselves and their co-workers.

• Uses a variety of machines to remove metal from castings / raw materials in order to create the proper characteristics anddimensions in accordance with the process documentation.

• Communicates effectively within the team and with all the support teams.

• Manage time well and work productively.

• Work in a positive professional/adult manner with all others.

• Completes work with minimal supervision.
