Toeroek Associates Inc. Sr. Project Controller & Financial Analyst in Lakewood, Colorado

The Senior Project Controller & Financial Analyst utilizes their expertise to review and analyze project financials and prepare complex project reports for Project Managers, Program Managers, and the Client. The Senior Project Controller & Financial Analyst applies principles of accounting to evaluate, track, and analyze financial information and make suggestions to Senior Management in accordance with the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). Additionally, this role works individually and collaboratively to optimize the use of financial systems to best meet the needs of the Company. Duties Monitors, tracks, and reports financial information and provides project financial analysis on revenue, costs, and profit, as well as budget vs. actual. Responsible for project invoicing and detailed backup reports per contractual requirements. Works with Program / Project Managers to maintain budgetary control of all projects for which they are responsible. Assists with the preparation of Cost Estimates, Estimates to Complete (ETCs), Project Reviews, Quarterly and Annual Project Reports, and Labor Category Justification Forms. Uses financial systems and tools to develop, improve, and implement new and/or unique methods and procedures to streamline job functions. Suggests new ways to use tools and financial systems to provide financial and operational information to meet the needs of Company operations better. Prepares Ad Hoc reports as requested, as well as financial and contract management reports (Revenue by State, Annual Allocation Report, Site Specific Report), in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). As requested, support and work with the VP of Finance to: o Provide training and support to project management and financial teams in the area of financial systems and analysis. o Prepare external audit materials and external financial reporting. o Develop project and Company budgets. o Prepare Cost Proposals for new and existing Contracts. Assists with the processes and procedures associated with subcontract administration to ensure full compliance with contract requirements. Maintains responsibility for ensuring subcontract documents, including task orders, modifications, invoices, and other related documents are accurate and properly Provide work leadership to junior employees, as needed.

Required Education/Experience Education/Experience Required: Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) from a four-year college or university Nine years' experience providing project controls or financial support in a government contracting environment. Knowledge of Federal Government contracts. Familiarity with T&M, Fixed Price, and Cost Reimbursement contracts. Knowledge of FAR and GAAP. Ability to identify, research, discuss, and resolve administrative and financial issues independently and as part of a team, set priorities that balance service and control, and manage and track multiple initiatives. Ability to think analytically and conduct trend analysis. Complex problem-solving skills. Knowledge of budgeting and planning. Service orientation including supporting employees in multiple remote locations. Experience with Microsoft Excel, advanced formulas, and its effective use in a financial tracking, analysis, and reporting environment. Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Ability to be a team player, work in a fast-paced environment, and adapt to changing requirements. Demonstrated commitment to high-quality work. Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to communicate and work with people at all levels of the organization.

Desired: Knowledge of Unanet BA or BS degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or Economics This position's target salary hiring range is $70,000 - $110,000 annually, DOQ. This is a good faith and reasona le estimate of the base compensation at the time of posting.
