Responsibilities OVERVIEW: Under the direction of the Master Supply Planning Manager, PL/CoMan, the Supply Chain Planning Coordinator, PL/CoMan is accountable to monitoring inventory and supply sources to support Post Consumer Brand’s Private Label and CoManufacturing and distribution processes to meet our customers anticipated demand. The coordination of finished goods inventory across our supply chain network, helps balance the needed inventory levels necessary to service the customers of the business. This position is also responsible to provide project coordination support for identified projects within the Supply Chain Planning department. Example projects may include coordination of item discontinuations or introductions, promotion tracking, aging inventory, and root cause analysis of supply chain disruptions. Other key functions the position works with: Customer Service – to maintain service level targets and inform on inventory timing Customers – Communication of projected service and demand outlooks for the near term planning horizon Master Supply Planning – to satisfy the production plan needs and inform on necessary timing Transportation - to minimize excess product movement and highlight inventory expediting needs Material Planning - to assure plan modifications are compatible with Packaging lead times and availability Production Scheduling – to assure schedules are efficient as possible for both processing and packaging given current demand requirements and service levels Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Track and report Key Performance Indicators on significant variances, perform root cause analysis and follow escalation procedures to maintain or improve customer service Communicate inventory timing needs to master supply planning, production planning, material planning, customer solutions and transportation planning Facilitate weekly service meetings with cross functional groups, including customers, to ensure alignment of actions to address immediate service concerns Partner cross-functionally with customer service on promotional tracking inclusive of item availability Review existing material plans to recommend changes for item transition projects that ensure production availability and limited inventory write-offs Coordinate activities to pursue opportunities and resolve issues. Document, communicate and follow-up on action plans Provide cross-functional information and expertise within the projects assigned Provide coordination on assigned projects and assist members of the Supply Chain Planning team, including but not limited to monitoring and validating inventory levels, making recommendations for change to align with project needs, issuing communications, project status updates, coordinating meetings, standard work documentation, and KPI tracking. Leadership Competencies: customer focus, drive for results; action-oriented; problem solving, planning, timely decision making, informing, organizing, conflict management, interpersonal savvy Qualifications EDUCATION: Associate’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Accounting, administrative training, or related field is preferred EXPERIENCE: Would prefer a minimum of 2 years of combined related experience operating in areas of customer service, planning, operations, inventory control, production scheduling, demand management, capacity management, materials management, or distribution resource planning; with preference in food processing/packaging Proficient in the use of office technologies and demonstrated ability to deliver high level, responsive customer service in a business environment is required Able to build relationships
