Location Description Post Consumer Brands corporate headquarters in Lakeville, Minn. is about 20 miles south of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Lakeville has all the benefits of smaller town living with access to everything a large metropolitan area has to offer. Responsibilities This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team designing and implementing a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tool at Post Consumer Brands, as well as coordinating and continuously improving existing commercialization processes and tools across all product categories (cereal, pet food, peanut butter). As a Product Lifecycle Business Owner, you will help design, implement, and manage a new PLM system at PCB. This includes helping to design and implement multiple phases of the PLM over multiple years, and providing oversight of the product lifecycle (from ideation to market launch to product retirement). This role requires frequent interactions with cross-functional business and IT partners and varying levels of leadership and communication in both R&D, the enterprise, and with external partners (product vendors, contractors, and consultants). This role also partners closely with senior leadership to manage and execute the ongoing evolution of our product lifecycle and commercialization strategy and tools. Responsibilities and Accountabilities Business Owner for PLM, including helping to design, implement, and train the organization on future phases of PLM implementation. Liaise closely with cross-functional partners, external vendor partners, contractors and consultants to drive PLM maturity for the business. System administrator for the PLM system, including ingredient management, packaging management, formula management, finished product management, regulatory management, and new product development. Supports PLM users with training (including user guides), troubleshooting, and enhancements. Serves as internal subject matter expert (SME) for PLM including Configuration Management, Product Quality Management, Requirements Management, Design Management, and Product Compliance. Responsible for identifying and designing reports and analytics. Documents necessary field information (drop down, free form, field restrictions, information type needed). Leads a PLM analyst, a direct report who will assist in PLM data management, data migration, and specification management. Qualifications Aptitude for process excellence – able to develop, launch, and sustain new tools and processes. Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management systems, ideally with experience in designing and implementing PLM. Demonstrated success in developing and launching processes at a CPG company. Understands the role of IT and able to effectively work with IT partners. Strong technical and communication skills (verbal and written) High energy, works efficiently, able to thrive in “agile method” sprints, optimistic drive and insatiable curiosity Critical Leadership Expectations: Learning Agile, Leads Change, Drives Execution, Works Collaboratively, Interpersonal Agility. Education BS degree in Technical (e.g., Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, IT) field. Experience Minimum 10 years of experience in a CPG company environment, with minimum 5 years experience in product data/lifecycle management systems and processes.
