In this role, you will report to theCustomer Service Managerand will be responsible for general oversight of all material flows in the branch, ensure the accuracy of stock levels, and handle all material flows both physically and within the system.

What will you be doing?
Accountable for the trouble-free reception and delivery of all goods entering & leaving the facility.
Responsible for accurate process compliance in the system environment.
Responsible for inventory accuracy of RM and FG stock and cycle counting process.
Accountable for trouble free line supply of manufacturing with all needed materials (RM, packaging...).
Responsible to monitor and develop assigned resources to ensure continuous achievement of relevant targets.
Responsible the continuous improvement of all material handling processes with the support of lean manufacturing tools.
Leading a Safety first approach maintaining a zero accident culture. Ensures and monitors work, accident prevention and safe working environment across the business.
Fulfil assigned primary, secondary and or tertiary deputy/back-up roles as assigned and required on occasion by the business.
Supervise the Schukra Truck Driver(s) and schedule daily truck routes.
Supervise the Material Handler Lead, Material Handlers, shipping and receiving day-to-day functions.
Arrange & maintain Window times for all inbound and outbound shipments
Arrange and maintain Dock door schedules for all inbound, outbound shipments and monitor dock capacity studies amongst all 3 shifts
Review timeliness of scheduled deliveries inbound and outbound
Arrange and maintain all Schukra assigned carriers and coordinate contracts with those carriers including milk runs and Canadian domestic freight.
Monitor and track all Schukra freight/shipments and associated costs; audit and approve freight invoices within policy constraints.
Coordinate internal/external shipping requests through the Freight Authorization Form(FAF) process.
Management of onsite and third-party offsite warehouses.
Maintain all service of the Schukra commercial vehicle (s) including MTO, DOT (drug screening), SCAC, Licensing, Preventative maintenance and service schedules.
Verify inter-department piece count receipt (receiving) and payment vs. pricing paid on B3 entry into Canada. Coordinate corrections as necessary.
Coordinate commercial documents and logistics for all courier and non-production shipments.
Prepare and maintain customer, supplier and sub-contractor NAFTA Certificates of origin, Manufacturer’s Affidavit’s and Foreign Shipper’s Declaration.
Assign harmonized classification of products; apply for customs rulings when applicable. Verify proper Annex’s are used when applicable.
Track tooling assets and submit to Revenue Canada on a timely basis.
Prepare CCIS, including PARS, PAPS, NAFTA, Ocean Marine Certificates, B13A’s, B2’s, Export invoices, ACE/ACI and E-Manifest paperwork.
Maintain CTPAT at SNA in coordination with L&P Global Services
Review and maintain record of Customs Compliance issues.
Audit and approve customs brokers’ invoices and B3 entries. Issue B2’s as needed.
Track temporary import/export bonds and close TIB’s in a timely manner.
On-going maintenance of warehouse stock locators, physical and system as well as maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse.
Participate in staff development training sessions.
Administer corrective action when necessary.
We’re looking for someone with:
High School or College Degree, Certificate as Logistics Supervisor from an acknowledged institute
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar leadership role in the Logistics area
3-5 years related experience in an ISO9001, IATF16949 automotive manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of applicable legislation. Customs Qualification Certificate an asset
Experienced in the implementation of warehousing methods
Knowledge of LEAN methods in Logistics area
Knowledge of stock taking methods, cycle counting and organization of these
Profound knowledge of ERP systems, root cause analyses of error and definition of counter-measures
Very good communication skills with different levels
Very good problem-solving and decision-making ability
Intercultural competence and hands-on mentality
Working knowledge of MS Office
