This position is within our Refresh Mental Health (RMH) organization, which provides a variety of behavioral and mental health treatments, including individual and group therapy, medication management, and intensive outpatient programs

We are seeking a Full-time/part-time, Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH) Clinician - Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LCSW & LMHC) with a minimum of two years post-licensure experience for our Florida locations.

Orlando, Jacksonville, Jacksonville Beach, Sarasota, Coral Springs

The primary role of an Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH) Clinician is to bring behavioral health expertise to patients in the primary care setting. This clinician works side-by-side with the primary care team, and collectively, they are focused on “whole person” health. The typical episode of care is brief and best suited for patients with physical and mental health or substance use conditions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Mental Health Discipline

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LCSW or LMHC) in the State of Florida

  • 3+ years of experience working with older adults and patients with SMI

  • 3+ years of experience delivering brief, evidence-based interventions

  • Experience with team-based care

  • Experience with Motivational Interviewing

  • Knowledge of and experience with several screening tools such as PhQ9, GAD 7, CSSRS, AUDIT, SBIRT, & CAGE

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Dually licensed as a mental health and substance use clinician

  • 1+ years of experience in primary care or related settings

  • Experience facilitating psychotherapy, process, and psycho-educational groups

  • Experience working with medical provider(s) performing Shared Medical/Behavioral Health Appointments

  • Experience creating educational materials for the patient and care team and presentations on mental health and substance use topics

  • Experience with crisis intervention

  • Experience with Geriatrics or Certified Geriatric Specialist

  • Experience with health psychology and behavioral medicine

  • Knowledgeable of hierarchical condition category (HCC) coding

If the hired individual resides in Florida (office based or telecommuting) this position requires the AHCA Level II background check (fingerprinting) by the State of Florida for all clinicians that have direct face to face contact with members OR employees who will have access to confidential patient data and will require renewal every five years.
