The Construction Administrator is responsible for coordinating and managing the administrative aspects of construction projects. This role involves overseeing contracts, permits, and documentation, as well as managing budgets using QuickBooks. The Construction Administrator ensures effective communication between all stakeholders, maintains compliance with regulations, and supports the smooth execution of projects from start to finish. Organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills are essential for success in this fast-paced environment.

salary: $20 - $23 per hour

work hours: 7 AM - 4 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

  • Project Coordination: Manage schedules, budgets, and communication between stakeholders.

  • Contract & Permit Management: Prepare, review, and oversee contracts and permits, ensuring compliance.

  • Document Control: Organize and maintain all project-related documentation, including permits.

  • Budget Oversight: Track expenses, process invoices, and manage finances using QuickBooks.

  • Communication: Liaise with contractors, architects, and clients for smooth project execution.

  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to construction standards, safety regulations, and building codes.

  • Problem-Solving: Address issues quickly to keep projects on track.

  • Software Use: Utilize construction management tools and QuickBooks for efficient project administration.
