IPRO Data Coordinator in Lake Success, New York

Data Coordinator

As part of IPROs Data and Analytics team, the Data Coordinator will support the department and key stakeholders through expertise in Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) data quality and compliance, systems access, data accuracy and integrity, technical assistance and training, and resource library management.

In the Data Coordinator role, you will be the primary point of contact for dialysis facilities, Veterans Administrations, and transplant centers seeking technical support with CMS and other federally mandated systems, including EQRS, NHSN, QIP, UNOS, DialysisData.org.

Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

An understanding of data entry procedures and principles, and data compliance, validation, and support. Identify, develop, and share process improvement techniques. Provide technical assistance to stakeholders through submitted help desk tickets, published instructions, scheduled one-on-one appointments, and by hosting open office hours. Maintain secure server structure and integrity, to facilitate organized and streamlined contract management and operations. Manage stakeholder onboarding, offboarding, and providing systems access support. Conduct data accuracy and cleanup activities as per the current EQRS guidelines. Report security violations to CMS as per current policy.

QUALIFICATIONS: Excellent communications skills both verbal and written. Excellent customer service skills, patiently providing clear technical assistance in emails and over the phone. Well-developed computer skills and a general knowledge of customer support systems. Strong data entry skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy. Strong time management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects, change priorities as needed, while maintaining precision and a strong attention to detail. Basic level proficiency of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access).

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

High school graduate or equivalent, required. Associates degree in a related discipline, preferred. Three (3) years of relevant experience required. Will consider education in lieu of experience as follows: Associates degree with 1 year of experience OR Bachelors degree with no experience.
Experience in the healthcare field preferred.

The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future. The hourly range for this position is $19.23 $21.63. Actual salary range and/or hourly rate depends on a variety of factors including experience, education, credentials, location, and budget.
