Description We are currently seeking a Data Engineer in Lake Oswego, Oregon. This role involves extensive interaction with various databases, intricate data management, and collaboration with a team of data professionals. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing insightful analytics, developing dashboards, managing data flows, and overseeing projects.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with various stakeholders to provide insightful analytics and identify business opportunities based on data trends.

• Design, build, and maintain Business Intelligence dashboards using tools like PowerBI and DOMO to support data-driven decision making.

• Develop expertise in customer, transaction, and product data tables, and recommend customer segments for targeted marketing campaigns.

• Oversee the construction and maintenance of data flows into our databases, ensuring data integrity and accessibility for analysis.

• Manage the prioritization and progression of tickets and projects, making sure they align with business goals.

• Recommend changes to existing data sets and sources based on business requirements.

• Ensure data sources and derived data sets are accurate and complete; investigate and resolve any bugs, inconsistencies, and uncaptured data.

• Work closely with the Data Engineering team to integrate analytics into daily operations, offering guidance and support as needed.

• Balance management responsibilities with hands-on contributions, including writing SQL queries and developing Business Intelligence solutions.

• Engage with business stakeholders to understand their needs, answer questions, and provide recommendations based on data insights.

Skills:

• Proficiency with Apache Spark, Database, and EO/IR systems

• Familiarity with Erwin Data, HDFS, and AB Testing

• Strong analytical skills with a focus on detail

• Experience with AWS Technologies, Business Intelligence (BI), and Business Requirement Document

• Proficiency with Microsoft Power BI and SQL Queries Requirements

• Proficiency in Apache Spark is required for this role

• Applicants should have experience with Database management

• Knowledge of EO/IR systems is a necessity

• Experience with Erwin Data is essential

• Familiarity with HDFS is critical for this position

• AB Testing skills are highly desirable

• Applicants should have strong Analytics capabilities

• Experience with AWS Technologies is crucial

• Knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) is required

• Candidates should be able to create Business Requirement Document

• Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI and Power BI is essential

• Ability to write SQL Queries is necessary for this job.
