FFP Finance Intern in Lake Mary, Florida
JOB SUMMARY:
The Finance Intern will assist the Finance department in various financial and accounting tasks, providing support to the team and gaining valuable hands-on experience in the field of finance. This internship is an excellent opportunity for individuals pursuing a degree in finance, accounting, or a related field to apply their classroom knowledge in a professional setting.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in the preparation of financial reports, statements, and analyses
Support accounts payable and receivable processes
Participate in budget planning and monitoring activities
Conduct financial research and data gathering
Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records
Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and documentation
Contribute to special projects and ad-hoc analyses as assigned
Attend meetings and participate in discussions to gain exposure

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel

Requirements
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher (or equivalent)
Prior relevant internship or work experience is a plus (not required)
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial modeling
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work on a part-time or full-time basis during the internship period
Commitment to confidentiality and professional ethics
Physical Requirements:
Ability to occasionally lift 25 lbs
Able to sit and work at a computer for prolonged periods
Must be able to navigate various departments of the organization’s physical premises
