Department/Unit Summary

Our IMC unit is comprised of 30 beds with a 1:4 nurse to patient ratio. You will be playing a crucial role in making our community at Lake Havasu City healthier and will be part of a team with a positive and collaborative work environment. This position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively across disciplines to coordinate patient care as well as opportunity for growth and enhance your skills in critical care. In this position you will work as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.

Qualifications and requirements Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

  • Associate’s degree required
  • Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) License or Compact State Registered Nurse (RN) required on hire
  • BCLS is required on hire (once ACLS is obtained BCLS no longer required)
  • Advance Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within 60 days if hire
  • PALS and TNCC Certification required within 6 months of hire
  • Moderation Sedation within 30 days of hire and annually thereafter
  • EKG Course and NIHSS Stroke within 30 days of hire and thereafter
  • Minimum one (1) year Med/Surg/Telemetry experience
