JOB REQUIREMENTS: Overview In this Generalist position, you will be performing and analyzing waived, moderate, and high complexity laboratory tests as defined by CLIA in Hematology, Urinalysis, Chemistry, and Blood Bank. Automated as well as Manual Methods will be utilized as defined by Mercy\'s Polices & Procedures. This position requires strong critical thinking, intra and interdepartmental communication, problem solving, and a strong attention to detail. pm/afternoon shift available Sign On Bonus Responsibilities In addition to assisting the medical staff with identifying key laboratory testing results, a few additional Key Responsibilities will be: Calibrations and Quality Control for instrumentation Preventative Maintenance & Advanced Troubleshooting Assuring policy-designated turnaround times for results are met and appropriately reported and documented Maintain a well-rounded competency of all procedures and instruments within the laboratory Education and Experience Bachelor\'s Degree of Medical Laboratory Sciences OR Associate\'s Degree in Medical Technology Certification and Licensure MLT certification within one year of hire or meets CLIA 493.1489 Standard: Testing personnel qualifications on or before April 24, 1995 EOE&AA/M/F/Vet/Disabled.
