The Assistant Body Shop Manager is responsible for directing the activities in the body shop, including managing the repair process until the repairs are complete.

Responsibilities:

• Handle customer complaints and foster positive customer relations. Maintain customer satisfaction standards.

• Prepare estimates on costs and time required for bodywork.

• Monitor job throughout the repair process.

• Keep estimators updated throughout the repair process; informing them if supplemental damage is found.

• Perform quality checks on completed jobs.

• Prepare final billing for completed repair orders and collects receivables.

• Prepare weekly payroll.

• Assist in hiring and mentoring of new technicians.

• Liaise with the parts, service and sales departments to coordinate workflow as necessary.

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Associate’s Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred

• Six months’ to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Must possess a current and valid driver license with a driving record that meets the insurability guidelines set forth by the company’s insurance carrier.

USD $75,000.00/Yr.

Maximum Pay Rate

USD $80,000.00/Yr.
