Job Title: Project Manager
Job Description
Will be overseeing the renovation of hotels and restaurants. We are looking for an individual who has experience working in the theme park industry and be able to oversee multiple projects at once. The Project Manager will also be managing the Project Engineers and sub-contractors on site.
Responsibilities
Manage the overall financial health of projects:
Develop and maintain project financial projections and equipment projections
Allocate project estimate into financial system with the accounting team
Assign cost codes, approve invoices, and make necessary budget management decisions
Provide financials and billings to Accounting for timely payment
Create monthly owner billings
Manage subcontracts/suppliers & staff for the project:
Maintain the budget for and make selections of trade partners and suppliers
Handle billings and contract management, including contract buyouts
Handle cost or performance disputes with Subcontractors or Suppliers
Approve timecards for onsite team members
Function as the main point of contact with the owner and on-site representative:
Assist with the review of the owner agreement
Resolve site concerns for the owner or representative
Function as the main point of contact with the owner and on-site representative
Provide frequent interactions and service to build positive relationships and future work opportunities
Execute scope changes & change orders:
Decide when to submit scope changes to the owner or on-site representatives
Obtain the customer/architect’s approval
Process owner change orders
Requirements
Minimum three years of Project Management/Field Engineer/Project Engineer experience
OSHA 30
Demonstrated ability to manage projects up to $10M
Microsoft Office, Project, Bluebeam, ProCore and pertinent web application skills at an intermediate level
Current driver's license
Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent experience in a Project Management Certification Program
Work Environment
This is a fully on-site position in Lake Buena Vista, Florida and will be onsite at Disney.
