  • Ensure all classification instructions for all shipments for all customers.

  • Monitor duty payments and documentation .

  • Monitor license ( Weboc ,PSW ) 

  • Ensure all new business is transitioned correctly.

  • Make 2 F2F calls per week – Retention/Sales

  • Maintain a positive relationship with customs officials 

  • Follow up refunds with customs authorities.

  • Send client report requests through the available database (expo request, expo reporting)

  • Provide content for customer reviews – duty/vat,

  • Be open to implementing new system changes and enhancements into your department. 

  • Review and conduct staff appraisals and one to one meeting timely in line with the 3+1 Initiative

  • Assist supervisor and key staff with goal setting and monitoring development.

  • Any other tasks assigned by Management 

Qualification 

  • Knowledge of Government Regulations of commercial ,manufacturers, repair &return and SRO based shipments  

  • Hands on Experience more than 5 years of  clearance according to Pakistan customs act, tariff, import policy ,export policy  

  • Strong understanding and previous experience with  clearance including processing through Weboc & PSW 

  • Strong problem solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills

  • Solid oral and written communication skills

  • Knowledge of International freight shipping terms

  • Knowledge of tenders ,RFQ,DDP & DDU shipments 

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily Processing: You will have ownership of a suite of clients and their related customs entries. This includes liaising with customers and our network for missing information from documents provided by the document teams, ensuring the timely lodgment of shipments and completion of bio security measures

  • Autonomy: You will manage your desk reviewing and responding to emails within the company timelines. Liaising with customers, Customs, DAFF and colleagues in order to complete entries within internal KPI's developed to ensure customer satisfaction

  • Classification and Valuation: Assessment and review of Tariff classification information including storage of supporting information

  • Entry Processing: Lodge and review entries . Amendment of entries where required.
