Position overview:
As the Senior Manager, Project Management in Costa Rica, you will coordinate the execution of transitions, migrations, process improvements, and other programs. You will lead all aspects of project portfolios, ensuring the detailed delivery of portfolio goals. Collaboration with a diverse range of partners within and outside Global Business Services will be crucial, ensuring a coordinated and inclusive approach.
Major areas of responsibility:
Lead cross-functional, geographically distributed project teams to achieve bold outcomes
Foster collaboration across horizontal workstreams and geographies, effectively running diverse teams and owning interdependencies
Collaborate with key collaborators to ensure the timely and quality implementation of programs across workstreams and businesses
Build relationships within the company to successfully complete projects through effective communication with collaborators
Drive breakthrough thinking by integrating diverse views and promoting innovative, collaborative problem-solving approaches through feasibility studies and targeted content deep dive sessions
Define and maintain scope of work, goals, budget, headcount requirements, and deliverables with a full-scale project plan, handling project resource requirements and allocation
Coordinate periodic project plan assessments to ensure readiness and quality of the projects
Drive project requirements, deliverables, and progress throughout the project lifecycle with Business, Operational teams, IT, and other functions
Apply suitable methodologies and use appropriate strategies to accomplish project scope within the designated timeframe, while maintaining quality and staying within budget
Identify and handle interdependencies, risks, issues, and actions, facilitating decision-making related to complexities through effective risk management strategies
Supervise multiple projects, track modifications to ensure forward movement, and act as the key information hub for the overall health and savings pipeline.
Build a high-performing team of highly skilled and motivated people
Required education/experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required, preferably in a business-related field
Project Management certification highly desirable (PMP, Prince2, Agile, etc.)
10+ years of proven experience managing complex, global programs and project initiatives
Experience in Finance operations (OTC, PTP, FA, Inventory) or Customer Service is preferred
GBS experience is highly desirable
Experience in Agile project management is an advantage
Proficiency in English
