Our Lady of Lourdes is a regional acute care medical center focused on the healing ministry of Jesus Christ. The painter applies coats of paint, varnishes, stains, enamels, and lacquers to decorate and protect the interior and/or exterior surfaces by using tools appropriate to the paint industry [brushes, rollers, sponges, cloths, and spay guns. Prepares surfaces for paint and/or wall paper by removing old paint, oils, dirt, and any other surface contaminants. Able to patch and fill holes, cracks, and joints with caulk, putty, plaster, sheet rock, or other filler products appropriate to the paint industry trade. Pressure washes exterior surfaces as necessary. May choose paint according to application or job. The position relies on guidelines and some experience and judgment to complete job and works under general supervision.
