About the Team:

The Senior Business Analyst position would be responsible for regional sales forecasting within North America. It can sit in either Lafayette, Indiana or Auburn Hills, Michigan.

Responsibilities:

• Support Price Strategy/Management through pricing calculation activities.

• Act as main interface with finance for pricing accruals.

• Analyze market dynamics, princing trends, market opportunities, and operating and sales margins. Evaluate price relationships between products in order to develop reports, procedures, and tools for pricing and quoting.

• Track, calculate, and maintain all inflation recovery related data for the region.

• Provide regular and ad hoc sales, price, & margin analysis to management, including methods to optimize price through market and pricing strategies.

• Work closely with Product Lines to monitor product costs, raw material inflation, customer productivity, tariffs, and other elements of price leakage and support the sales team with processes to both analyze & control these elements.

• Track market indexes (Raw Material/Freight/Labor/Energy) and its impact for the business

• Serve as main contact for all forecast related topics. Contribute sales-related inputs to the S&OP process.

• Assemble & maintain actual, forecast, and planning sales data as part of the monthly forecasting process and annual strategic & operative planning processes

• Oversee the team’s local database model through maintenance of base data tables, queries, and high-level reports, and continuously drive improvements in this object model that reduce analytical process waste & time and increase reporting output.

• Create/maintain dashboards as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Engineering or related field. MBA preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years professional experience, Experience in the Commercial Vehicle industry preferred.

• Advanced MS Excel experience required. Fluency with VBA and PowerBI preferred.

• Global exposure: experience, ability and desire to work with multiple regional business units and in a multi-cultural environment.

• Demonstrated product planning, product strategy, industry and competitive analysis skills.

• Strong MRP system experience. SAP experience a plus.

• Experience working cross-functionally (i.e. sales, finance, planning, marketing)
