Job Title: Level 4 CNC Machinist Technician

Location: Lafayette, IN

Pay Range: $28.55 - $32/hr (+6% shift differential for 2nd & 3rd shift)

What's the Job?

• Program, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machines, including multi-axis setups (4-axis and 7-axis)

• Perform G and N code programming and make necessary offsets

• Ensure quality control through part inspection, auditing, and maintaining machine efficiency

• Set up and operate machines for cast iron and ductile materials, managing high-volume production runs

• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain a safe working environment

What's Needed?

• 2+ years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment

• Strong understanding of CNC programming and adjustments with Fanuc, Siemens, or similar controllers

• Knowledge of machining principles, including blueprint reading and geometric tolerances

• Experience with cast iron/ductile material processing and multi-axis machines

• Ability to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and maintain equipment in a fast-paced environment
