How will you make an impact?
This Digital Marketing role for Molecular Biology will drive the development and execution of digital marketing programs for the Marketing Development team. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Digital Strategy, this person will join a team of Digital Marketing professionals that define and manage ongoing global marketing programs, and support regional programs, for Thermo Fisher's Molecular Biology brands including Invitrogen, Applied Biosystems, and Thermo Scientific.
What will you do?
Develop and execute a search engine optimization 'SEO' strategy by partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to identify priorities; manage execution and reporting
Manage and coordinate digital channel budgets between Marketing and Digital team members to optimize the marketing mix and maximize investment in each digital channel
Manage the trafficking of 100+ digital projects per month and ensure that projects are progressing through their appropriate workflows. Ensure action items are clearly identified and hold responsible parties accountable for timing
Manage key partnerships with external agencies that support Display and SEM campaign to ensure the ad dollars and the agency costs are maximized for revenue and lead generation
Drive SEM strategy and optimization for 100+ global campaigns in partnership with SEM team members and product portfolio managers
Support social media efforts and partner with other social media team members to drive a consistent and engaging experience across our branded accounts
Coordinate with global functions to ensure consistency with brand profiles and company standards.
This position interacts with varying levels of internal and external personnel and will require direct customer communication, public presentation, and a team-focused approach.
Work closely with regional marketing managers to build and execute marketing programs within their regions.
How will you get here?
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, digital marketing, marketing communications, or related analytical fields of study
3+ years of experience successfully managing digital marketing programs in a corporate environment
2+ years of web analytics experience using Adobe Analytics (preferred) or Google Analytics
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Exceptional communication skills as well as analytical, project management and planning skills are necessary.
Strong business acumen and customer focus are essential.
Ability to travel up to 15%.
Working familiarity with Adobe Ad Cloud, Google Ads, or other digital advertising platforms
Google ads certified
E-commerce experience a plus
Demonstrated ability to optimize pages for search engines (SEO)
Proficiency in managing large scale paid search programs, with complex campaign and regional structures
HTML development experience, or webpage development expertise using common industry platforms
Experience in life science industry or Fortune 500 environment

The salary range estimated for this position is $100,000 - $130,000. This position will also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. Actual compensation will be confirmed in writing at the time of offer.
