We are looking for a Diesel Mechanic with experience on heavy equipment and small engines to join the team of a leading heavy equipment company. This is a permanent position with benefits on Day 1. salary: $62,400 - $72,800 per year

shift: First

work hours: 7 AM - 5 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance on large-scale power-generators, pumps, HVAC systems and diesel related equipment.

• Perform diagnostics and make repairs on equipment

• Need to be able to use diagnostic tools such as Cummins Expert Diagnostic System, John Deere Service Advisor or IDSS

• Must have knowledge of diesel engines and DEF

• Need to have own hand tools

• Advanced knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems & troubleshooting skills

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes

• working in a non-temperature controlled environment

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 7 hours at one time

Skills

• diesel engine repair

• changing fuel filters

• repair heavy equipment

• diesel compressor repair

• diesel generator repair

• diesel HVAC repair
