Job Title: CNC Machine Operator

Job Description

We are seeking CNC Machine Operator with experience in the setup and operation of CNC grinders, lathes, and milling equipment. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to work from blueprint layouts and dimensions on drawings and read manual gauges. This role requires loading, aligning, and setting up machines per drawing instructions while maintaining quality production records. A strong knowledge of machining methods, cutting tools, and shop mathematics is essential.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC grinders, lathes, and milling equipment.

• Work from blueprint layouts and dimensions on drawings.

• Read and interpret blueprints and manual gauges.

• Load, align, and set up machines according to drawing instructions.

• Maintain quality production records.

• Ensure quality control using statistical process control and CMM measuring.

• Read shop math and have knowledge of machining methods and cutting tools.

• Collaborate with team members and provide feedback in a team environment.

Essential Skills

• +3 years of experience in CNC setup and operations.

• Proficiency in working from blueprint layouts and dimensions.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and manual gauges.

• Knowledge of machining methods and cutting tools.

• Computer literacy for Statistical Process Control and CMM measuring.

• Experience with CNC machining.

• Ability to read shop math.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 3-5 years of CNC experience.

• Experience with mills, lathes, and grinders.

• Experience with setup and changeovers.

• Open to working 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.41
