The Water Quality Program *within the Department of Ecology is looking to fill a *Water Quality Financial Management Section Manager (WMS2) position.   This position is locatedin our *Headquarters Office inLacey, WA.{rel="nofollow"} Upon hire, you must live within a commutable distance from the duty station. You will manage a dynamic group of professionals funding hundreds of restoration and infrastructure projects across Washington through a combined state and federal funding program with over a billion dollars under operational agreements. As the top person for the federal Clean Water State Revolving Fund, you are nationally involved on best practices for funding clean water projects in local communities and Tribal lands. You will find innovative ways to ensure that small and disadvantaged communities have the funding and resources needed to support environmental justice, cultural resource protections, and ensure cool, clean water for aquatic life and their communities. *Agency Mission: *Ecology's mission is to protect, preserve and enhance the environment for current and future generations. * * *Program Mission: *The mission of the Water Quality Program is to ensure that all aquatic life and communities in the watershed experience cool, clean water to refresh and sustain us in a changing climate. *Tele-work options for this position: *This position will have flexibility of a hybrid schedule, empowering work from home and office, providing less time in traffic and shrinking your carbon footprint.
