Maintenance Technician - paying up to $33/hour starting depending on experience!
Job Description
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including reviewing work orders at the start of your shift, performing preventative maintenance on ovens and packing machines, inspecting and testing machinery such as bearings, gears, and shafts. You will also install and repair electrical apparatuses, gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment. Additionally, you will set up and operate lathes, grinders, drills, and perform occasional fabrication to cut or join metal parts.
Responsibilities
Review work orders at the start of each shift.
Perform preventative maintenance on baking ovens and packing machines.
Inspect and test machinery, including bearings, gears, and shafts.
Install and repair electrical apparatuses, gauges, valves, and pressure regulators.
Set up and operate lathes, grinders, and drills.
Perform occasional fabrication to cut or join metal parts.
PLC knowledge
Essential Skills
Experience in maintenance and electrical work.
Mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing or production setting.
1 year of experience setting up, repairing, and troubleshooting machinery.
6+ months of electrical and welding/fabricating experience.
Work Environment
The work environment is a production setting that maintains an SQF System regulating quality within food safety. The company operates with a team of 500 employees and offers both day shifts (5:30am-5:30pm) and night shifts (5:30pm-5:30am). The company values inclusivity, teamwork, and employee morale.
