WHAT YOU WILL DO

• The position will give the student opportunities to learn and apply Health, Safety &/or Environmental principals within a production environment

• Coordinate and manage day-to-day activities to meet all Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) standards established by applicable law or regulation

• The student will be given projects centered around health safety and/or environment

• Update of the sites Job Safety Analyses (JSAs)

• Create/Update Lockout Tagout Procedures utilizing Brady 360

• Assist in the continual improvement of the Field Service Safety Program.

• Continuous participation in trainings related to Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) topics

• Coordinates and communicates with other departments as needed to support team objectives

• As a member of the EHS team, assist the EHS Manager to promote safety awareness for safety issues/concern to include developing and distributing communications and follows up to ensure corrective or preventative measures have been implemented

• Maintains EHS files and records

• Perform other duties and projects as requested and assigned by the EHS Manager

WHO YOU ARE

• Understand current need and deficiencies for EHS courses within the organization

• Exposure to environmental, industrial hygiene, and safety disciplines

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future

• Must be working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Engineering or an equivalent degree.
