Description We currently have a long-term contract / temporary to hire opening for an intelligent, highly-skilled Receptionist in a growing company. This dynamic and creative company offers a stimulating work environment with fulfilling challenges and is based in the La Puente, California region. Are you a motivated self-starter who can handle multiple projects at once with a smile? Then this Receptionist position is for you.

Major responsibilities

• Be an asset to other administrative staff with support overflow work, including word processing, data entry and Internet research tasks

• Receive, review, and distribute incoming mail according to specified procedures

• Create a welcoming environment for visitors

• Answering all incoming phone calls

• Maintain various office files and provide general office filing support

• Put in orders for office and kitchen supplies

• Bring a sense of urgency and prioritization skills

• Maintain various office files and provide general office filing support Requirements - Strong communication and social skills

• Optimistic, creative, resourceful, solution-oriented, and tech-savvy

• 1+ years of related experience

• Strong attention to detail

• Strong organization skills with a sense of urgency and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks

• Excellent customer service and office administrative skills

• Provide Clerical Support experience preferred

• Compiles Documents experience

• Proficiency in filing

• Scanning Documents experience preferred

• Switchboard phone (1-10 lines) experience
