SUMMARY:
Responsible for performing client follow up and administrative duties related to the Mortgage Warehouse Department of the Bank. The Warehouse Assistant will obtain clients corporate financials, therefore professional communication with business owners and the ability to build rapport is necessary. Assist in the day-to-day activities and to promote good relations with associates and departments within the Bank to ensure organization and efficiency. interaction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor all customers monthly to ensure they meet the minimum insurance requirement for Fidelity and E andO coverage, with loss payee naming Centier Bank.
- Track and obtain quarterly and annual compliance certificates from all customers.
- Track and obtain quarterly and annual corporate financials from all customers.
- Track and obtain Corporate Tax returns from all customers.
- Track and obtain financial information from Guarantors, including Personal Financial Statements and Personal Tax Returns (both annually).
- Work in tandem with Vice President Mortgage Warehouse as it relates to all audits performed, including but not limited to: BKD, Indiana DFI, FDICIA, RSM.
- Act as liaison between independent Review firm and our customers when customer reviews are performed.
- Prepare reference letters, as requested by customers.
- Prepare CPA confirmations, as requested by customers.
- Contract Preparation: Prepare Master Agreements for new customers, including MERS Agreements and Personal Guaranty docs for signature, and prepare Amendments for existing customers as necessary.
- Work in tandem with Mortgage Underwriter in preparing annual reviews and other Board presentations.
- Organize customer Holiday cards and gifts.
- Act and exercise independent judgment to assist with customers in absence of SVP/VP.
- Answer department phone calls, respond to customer requests and direct customer inquiries to appropriate personnel.
- Backup for note shipment and loan payoffs.
- Maintain strict confidence with all information related to customer accounts and bank affairs.
- Monitor and report any known or suspected violation(s) of any regulatory rules or regulations.
- Uphold all compliance rules and regulations, paying special attention to the Bank Secrecy Act.
- Uphold and serve as a champion for the Companys core values, strategic initiatives, and service expectations.
- Establish rapport with clients and detect and identify their needs, recommend and explain solutions and actions, handle objections, and ask for their business. Understanding and being able to interpret and present Mortgage Warehouse products and services is vital.
- Provide the highest levels of quality service to clients and perform client requested service or transactions in a friendly, positive, professional manner, always using the clients name. Strive to provide a World Class Service experience in every transaction.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
