Eaton Corporation Molding Process Technician - 3rd Shift in La Grange, North Carolina

Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Molding Process Technician - 3rd Shift. The core hours are 7:00 pm - 7:30 am. The hourly rate for this position is $26.25/hr per hour.

What you’ll do:

This position is responsible for setting molds and processing raw plastic material into parts within specification. The incumbent will also repair and maintain molding equipment.

  • Perform all duties required to set up, assemble, operate, and maintain a variety of equipment

  • Plan and perform mold set up and processing to ensure optimal utilization of labor and machinery

  • Troubleshoot issues with machines, tools, materials, and equipment and make repairs and adjustments as needed or escalate for additional technical assistance

  • Assemble molds and components as specified by orders, routers, and blueprints

  • Break down, clean, and store used molds and components, removing carbon, rust, or excess rubber

  • Perform first piece inspections of parts to ensure they are in tolerance

  • Perform molding operation duties as needed to maintain flow of work through the department

  • Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly manner

Qualifications:

Basic (Required) Qualifications:

  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience programming, setting, running, and performing maintenance on manufacturing machinery.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution

  • Knowledge of various measuring instruments and ability to read blueprints.

  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applications must be US persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a US person as a US Citizen, US Permanent Resident (i.e. “Green Card Holder”), Political Asylee, or Refugee

  • Previous experience with molding machines and processing
