WorkSource Oregon Physical Therapist Assistant in LA GRANDE, Oregon

The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) supports the delivery of outpatient rehabilitation services under the direct supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. The PTA assists with implementing treatment plans, providing hands-on care, and monitoring patient progress to ensure optimal outcomes. Responsibilities include guiding patients through prescribed exercises, utilizing therapeutic modalities, educating patients and families on home programs, and documenting treatments accurately in compliance with regulatory standards. The PTA works collaboratively with the therapy team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care for a diverse population. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) * Work with a diverse group of coworkers and patients. * Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. * Proficient with Google Suite. * Multi-task in a fast-paced environment. * Must have CPR-AED certification or be willing to get them. * Good organizational skills. * Is in good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards. * Working knowledge of Medicare and other payer sources. * Full knowledge of patient\'s rights. * Exudes professionalism in presentation. * Must read, write, speak, understand and communicate in the English language. Education and Experience: * Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program. * Have, or obtain, an Oregon Physical Therapy Assistant License.
