Trane Technologies Test Engineering Intern in La Crosse, Wisconsin

Job Summary:

We are looking for enthusiastic, innovative engineering students who understand the importance of collaboration and customer focus. Intern will have the opportunity to work with Test Engineers in the R&D Laboratory in support of active product testing or working on innovative ideas/projects. Intern will get the experience of working in a world class engineering organization while applying what is learnt in the academic setting.

This role has been designated by the Company as Safety Sensitive.

Location:

Onsite in R&D Laboratory, La Crosse, WI.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled and pursuing a BS in any Engineering major or Applied Physics

  • Desired GPA of 3.0 or above throughout the duration of the program

  • Must be available to work Full-time the summer months (May to August)

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with others to foster effective teamwork by linking own responsibilities to the team’s goals and needs

  • Zeal for new information, knowledge, and experiences

  • Demonstrated troubleshooting background

  • Establish courses of action for self and others to ensure work is completed efficiently, such as, prioritizing tasks based on importance

  • Demonstrated leadership skills such as: campus organizations, sports team captain, resident advisor, etc. or exceptional leadership of work projects
