We are hiring for the first shift 7 am-3:30 pm M-F.

ATX Specialty Foods is seeking a Retail Team Member to join our team. The successful candidate will work the first shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday) and report directly to the Retail Team Supervisor. This position plays a vital role in ensuring our products are packaged and shipped according to the highest standards while adhering to safety protocols and company guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

:

  • Assure proper lot numbers and date codes are correct for each product run on the line.

Clean, set up, and operate monitor equipment of the production line.

Complete all required documentation and scheduled quality checks.

  • Feed or place items onto equipment for processing.
  • Assist in cleaning the production area and equipment by sweeping, mopping, and removing debris.
  • Packs up completed products and prepares them for shipment.
  • Pull damaged or ineffective products off the line. Mark parts or products for identification. Communicate these events to the Retail Team Supervisor.
  • Load and unload processing equipment.
  • Any tasks that support the processes of the production and packaging of the products on their line.
  • Perform assignments and directives provided by the Retail Team Supervisor.
  • Adheres to all safety guidelines Standards of Performance (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Processes (GMPs), and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP).
  • Communicates regularly with the Retail Team Supervisor.
  • Accountable to meet daily goals the operations management sets to fulfill customer requirements.
  • Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of department area and equipment.
  • Follow prescribed safety policies as established by the company.
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned.

Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to work overtime. Available for evening and weekend hours if needed to fulfill customer requirements.

Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills

:

  • Ability to follow SOPs and GMP guidelines accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality standards.
  • Basic arithmetic skills for measuring and weighing materials; ability to use a calculator.
  • Good reading and comprehension skills to understand bulk-manufacturing documentation.
  • Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
  • Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Flexible, with the ability to work overtime as needed.
  • Willingness to contribute new ideas and suggestions for improvement.

Physical Demands and Job Requirements

:

Exert up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally and up to 20 lbs. of force consistently.
