ManpowerGroup Tax Director in Kulpsville, Pennsylvania

Jefferson Wells has a direct hire opportunities for Tax Director with retail experience. If you have experience in the following areas, please submit your resume for immediate review.

  • Experience with international and franchise distribution

  • Experience with indirect tax workflows (such as sales tax, value added tax, property tax and business licenses) including, processing, analysis, reporting, compliance, and tax planning.

  • Completion of monthly sales tax returns and value added tax including assuring compliance with sales and valued added tax laws and regulations

  • Sales tax audits / value added tax audits

  • Ensure tax procedures adhere to state and local tax regulations for all state and local indirect taxes

  • Lead tax planning initiatives to stay compliant with current and any new legislation surrounding tax practices in area of responsibility

  • Manage Sarbanes-Oxley internal controls for area of responsibility

  • Research and implement any legislative changes that may affect the indirect tax function

  • Manage the tax planning and development of special projects with regards to indirect taxes

  • Provide support to assist with the preparation of the state income tax provisions and state income tax returns

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field; CPA required; advanced degree preferred

7+ years in general corporate income tax and accounting environment

Experience with external tax research technology portals and accounting systems

Skills

Knowledge of (one or more) Vertex, Point of Sale systems, SAP, One Source, Corp Tax, Avalara

Proficient in Microsoft Office, expert in Excel with modeling and efficient spreadsheet usage

Salary $150,000K to $180,000K
