AIG Auto Material Damage Claims Technical Controller in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Description
To handle a portfolio of 1,500 p.a. claims for Personal Lines products which includes quantum assessment of consumer auto claims. Core activities would include working closely with panel garages, dealers, external loss adjusters to complete quantum assessments, determine repair methodologies, assess vehicle damage consistencies, identify KFIs, engaging policyholders, insureds, brokers and agents on the progress of each claim, monitor and report on any loss trends/ insights
Accountabilities
Timely, accurate and customer focused claim resolution, minimizing indemnity exposure and mitigating vendor and legal expense
Effective communication of key advanced Complex claims and portfolio messages to internal stakeholders.
Financial control through consistent reserve and other financial transaction discipline
Accurate and consistent policy interpretation
What we are looking for
Intermediate specialist knowledge in technical claims topics and investigative experience
Policy language skills enabling accurate and consistent policy wording interpretation
Good communication skills, both written & verbal
Good time management – ability to manage & priorities workload and diary management
Ability to contribute effectively within a team environment.
Ability to work with claims stakeholders to effectively direct claims strategy.
Good critical thinking, decision-making and negotiation skills
