We are looking for someone with:

  • Accounting qualification

  • Good stakeholder management experience

  • Strong communication skills and good written English

  • Working knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Working experience of at least 4 years Insurance industry with regulatory reporting experience

  • Familiar with regulatory reporting requirements under MFRS4 basis.

Nice to Haves:

  • Working experience within the life insurance industry (either commercial or audit experience)

  • Good analytical skills

  • Experience in automation of working file

  • Good with macro, or has experience with Power BI

On the job you will be:-

  • Supporting the monthly, semi-annual, annual regulatory submission ie Bank Negara Malaysia (“BNM”) returns

  • Supporting the drafting of Investment Linked Financial Statements at Year End

  • Liase and support External Auditor to ensure completion of Year End BNM and Investment Linked audit and timely submission to relevant regulators/authority;

  • Support the submission of certain financial metrics/information to LIAM;

  • To be involved in analysis of balances;

  • Other ad-hoc or enhancement projects within the team
